Lewis Martin, Super League's 2025 leading try scorer, signs new Hull FC contract

Lewis Martin, last season's leading try scorer in Super League, has signed a new five-year contract at Hull FC.

The 21-year-old's deal means the winger remains at the club until the 2030 season.

Martin scored 25 tries in an outstanding 2025 campaign that saw his Hull FC side finish seventh.

Martin, as well as leading the competition as a whole, has led Hull FC's try-scoring in two of his three Super League seasons, scoring a total of 42 tries in 56 games for the Black and Whites.

"Hull is home. I've grown up here and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else," Martin said in a Hull FC news release.

"The fans have always backed me and I'm proud to keep representing them.

"The next five years give me a further chance to give something back to the club that gave me an opportunity in the sport."

Hull FC were consigned to missing the Super League playoffs after defeat to Catalans Dragons in the final game of the 2025 season, but hopes of a better season will be high after Martin's new contract.

"This is a really important signing for us," said the club's chief executive, Richie Myler. "Lewis has come through our system, he understands what this club means to the city and the fans.

"We want a group that people recognise and feel connected to, players who wear the shirt with pride and give everything to Hull FC."
